FPU Board Attorney retires after 20 years.

Whitney Stevens recently retired as the attorney for the Fayetteville Public Utilities (FPU) Board after 20 years of service. Stevens was appointed by the Fayetteville Electric System (FES) Board of Directors in November of 1998. When the electric, gas, and water utilities merged in 2002, Stevens continued as the attorney for Fayetteville Public Utilities.

Prior to serving as FES and FPU attorney, he served on the FES Board from July 1994 until December 1997.

“We are proud to have worked with Mr. Stevens as long as we have,” said CEO/ General Manager Britt Dye. “His hard work and dedication to the utilities over the past two decades are very much appreciated. He will be greatly missed.”
