FPU’s Harvest of Hope Food Drive Begins

Fayetteville Public Utilities invites you to donate canned and non-perishable food items in the annual Harvest of Hope Food Drive sponsored by FPU. The FPU food drive benefits the Good Samaritan Association of Lincoln County by stocking its shelves for the fall and winter months when some in our community find themselves applying for food assistance to help make ends meet.

Items needed in the food drive include peanut butter; boxed macaroni; canned meats, vegetables and fruits; and dry oats, cereal and noodles; and any type of canned soup.

FPU will be accepting donations through Dec. 30. You can bring your food donations to the FPU office at 408 West College Street during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please support the Harvest of Hope Food Drive and help the Good Samaritan Association of Lincoln County feed local families in need.

For more information on how you can participate, call Fayetteville Public Utilities at 931-433-1522.
