FPU announces lower TVA total monthly fuel costs for March

Fayetteville Public Utilities (FPU) announced this week that the total monthly fuel cost will decrease in March by 98-cents on the average electric bill for 1,330 kilowatts bringing the residential electric bill to $139.42 for the month. The same kilowatt use in February cost residential consumers $140.40.

March electric rates continue to reflect TVA’s winter period rate schedule. TVA’s winter season rates began on December 1st and will remain in place through March 31st. April and May are transition months where TVA rates are traditionally lower.
